LITTLE BIBLE PLAN
This month’s daily Bible passages are all about loneliness. They’re full of encouragement for when you’re feeling lonely and reminders that you are truly NEVER ALONE when you have Jesus.
I think we all struggle with loneliness at times—some more than others. And for so many different reasons. Finding friends and forming real, true connections with other people can be HARD. I know I personally have struggled with this many, many times in my life, especially as a teenager with really bad social anxiety. I’ve crawled in bed and just cried and cried because I felt like I didn’t belong or connect with anyone. But I’ll tell you what, God has never once left my side! He’s always been faithful. And He’s brought so many true friendships into my life when I least expected it.
Dear friend, if you’re reading this right now and you’re struggling with loneliness, I just want you to know that you’re NOT alone! There are so many others struggling just like you are. And God wants to meet you in your loneliness. He wants to hold your hand and walk with you through this season. No matter how dark things may seem right now, they can change more quickly than you think! There are brighter days ahead.
Sometimes a season where it’s just you and God can lead to the most beautiful things. After all, your true fulfillment and joy is found in Him and Him alone! He can fill any hole in your heart. Wherever you’re at right now, I hope these Bible passages speak to you and encourage you in whatever battle you’re facing.
NEVER ALONE
To go along with the loneliness theme, each day you’ll find a challenge designed to help you grow closer to God and deepen your relationship with Him. Some examples are:
- Spend time alone with Jesus today.
- Pray for Godly friendships.
- Find your joy in Jesus first, not in other people.
- Write down 10 reasons why God is good.
Child of God, you are so loved, welcomed and wanted by your Heavenly Father! You are never alone, for He is ALWAYS with you—and what a comforting truth.
