February 2024 Little Bible Plan + Remembering Your First Love

Hi loves!

I can’t believe February is almost here! I’m so so so excited—my girly heart just loves this month. All the pink, hearts, bows, flowers, sweet romance movies. It’s also my birthday month! (Anyone else?)

Above all of this, my favorite thing about February is focusing on the love story between me and Jesus. (This is a daily thing, of course, but I enjoy putting a little extra emphasis on His love during the month of February.)

And that’s what this month’s Little Bible Plan is all about—remembering our first love. Keep reading to learn more!

FIRST LOVE

If you’re not familiar with the Biblical term “first love,” it’s a reference to Revelation 2:4, which says, “But I have this against you, that you have left your first love.”

This church was known for doing many good things, but they had lost their LOVE for Christ.

The ONE THING that truly matters. The ONE THING that’s most important.

Our first love. Jesus. Loving Him. Knowing His love for us.

Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?”

Jesus replied, “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.” —Matthew 22:36-38

This world is FILLED with things that threaten to pull us away from Jesus. Maybe you’ve watched someone lose the love for Christ they had at first. Or maybe you’ve experienced this yourself.

But this month, we’re running straight to the ANSWER, the SOLUTION, the AUTHOR of love itself—Jesus Christ! We’re going to spend the whole month of February reading His Word and talking to Him in prayer. Growing in our relationship with Him and remembering Him as our first love!

If you’ve been feeling a little distant from Jesus or if you feel like you’ve lost the love you had for Him at first—I hope this Bible plan is a blessing to you. And I hope I can encourage you by saying—you are not alone! I’ve experienced these feelings in my walk with Jesus, and I know MANY others have, too. Also, Jesus knows—He understands your struggles, and He wants to welcome you back with open arms and draw you closer than ever before.

Praying this month brings us closer to the greatest love we’ll ever know!
